Hi all,

First of all... HELP!

I have the Powerbook G4, which I bought 1 month before the MacBook Pro came out (grrrr...), and I recently acquired the iMac G4 1.25gHz Superdrive 17" screen. The iMac is running on OS 10.3, and the PowerBook is running OS 10.4.

Is there a way to restore the iMac completely using the restore CD provided with the PowerBook G4, so I can have OS 10.4 on it?

I know some of you have the answers, and I have got no one here to ask.

Thanks guys...

Andre

No...the PowerBook restore disc is model-specific and will not install on your iMac. It's also a violation of the license to install it on more than one machine. Tiger can be had pretty cheaply on eBay, so you may want to investigate that route.

Thank you very much. I will see to that option. If anyone has a better idea, please feel free to add to this thread. Thanks!
