Installing safari disconnects my wifi?

Hi, Im trying to install safari on my mothers PC which runs fine with other browsers, but after installing safari it seems to disconnect the wifi and the only way to get it back up and running is to uninstall safari and reset the router and computer.
I dont think its an IP address issue.
