Hey all I am new to the forums and new to the whole Imac's as well.
My question is as follows. I currently bought my Imac but my cousin who owned it had reformatted the whole hard drive and blew out everything Imac and put in windows Vista.
Im not a big fan of windows vista and since its a mac I would enjoy the mac features. So I downloaded snow leopard which was quite a file size so I went out and bought a 8gig memory stick. now my question is with having nothing on here that is mac, how would I now go about installing this program.
The file that downloaded was a dmg file and I downloaded a program which opens them files and when I try following the install nothing happens. Im completely lost and frustrated here lol
So any help and ideas would be much appreciated.
