I am planning on installing a SSD drive into my MacBook Pro today (2008). Is the form factor going to be the same, or are they thinner, etc? Do I need any kind of an adapter, or will they install just out of the box ok?

They are almost always 2.5" SATA drives just like your laptop already has, so will be fine. Make sure the thickness is 9.5mm (some of the largest size drives are thicker than the smaller ones)

I ordered this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Intel-Series-...P8L2/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1333126554&sr=8-3

It looks to be 9.5mm.

Thanks.
