Hi, i'm trying to install an ssd into a macbook 2006 for my friend, so far the problem i am facing is having the ssd have a constant connection to the macbook. there were two rubber slips that were on the sides of the harddrive slot. however they felt out, and it seems that they might something to do with not being connected. Right now it seems that is the major problem in installing Leopard.

did you replace the sled on new drive if not then could be problem, if did then may need to do take apart. i've just upgraded my bro. inlaws to ssd and upgraded ram and snow leopard works fine on it.
