These first two paragraphs are just for the people who will ask questions and are curious as to my plans for these drives. Jump to the red stars if you just want the interesting 'help me choooooooose' bit.

Basically having trouble choosing between value and size or longevity and [a bit more] speed. Keeping in mind the way SSD prices will drop and become more safe as the years go by, along with the degredation issues they tend to have, my decision is becoming a hard one. Especially since we have no TRIM or whatever to help out our SSD drives, making more reliant ones possibly better for Macs at the moment.

I have a 640GB HDD installed currently, which I would leave in its current bootable state in case the SSD ever did go bad, and rEFIt is already installed just in case. Also, I am not short for space no matter what route I take due to the 640, and I have a couple TBs worth of external space as well, so I wouldn't be storing anything on the SSD except applications and Snow Leopard itself, maybe a Windows partition as well, and then accessing media on my 640GB HD when I needed it.

So basically- *******

I just can't tell if I should get the 60GB SSD for 10% less money, with a 10% faster read and 20% faster write speed which is said to not degrade (in a way the user could notice at least), LINK:

OR

the 128GB SSD which costs a bit more (coupon brings it to $200), but holds over twice as much at a very similar speed. It doesn't hurt that Crucial is a trusted name brand, IMHO. LINK:
