Installing Win 7 from iMac to Air by using DVD Sharing possible?

Is it possible?
Or do I have to make a Win 7 USB to install Win 7 on my MacbookAir?
 
I used an USB-Stick with Windows 7 64bit on it ... I could not get the Remote Disc/DVD Sharing to work. ImgBurn is a great program :)
