installing win7 x64 on a mbp mid2010 15in

It goes fine until I get to the point it's loading windows (the one with the progress bar before I get to the actual install screen) and it's just stuck there. I let it run for an hour and no progress. Any ideas?

ps. It's currently running win7 x64 with no osx partition in the drive.
