Hi, I need some help with installing windows 7 on my 2010 macbook pro laptop.

I currently have:
- laptop
- windows 7 installation dvd
- snow leopard installation file (.dmg) -> I do not have the DVD, file sent by my friend

I've done some research and I'm planning to follow the steps provided on this website: http://www.simplehelp.net/2009/01/15...e-walkthrough/

However, my problem is that I don't have a physical SL DVD to boot after installing Win 7 via bootcamp to install the appropriate drivers. Since I don't also have a 8gb USB or DVD large enough to fit 6.5gb, I've done more research and found this: http://superuser.com/questions/35108...out-a-cd-drive

My question is will I be able to successfully install windows 7 using the steps provided on the first website link, and following it up by booting snow leopard installation via another partition (2nd web link)? Will this work? Help will be greatly appreciated.

Side question: Will I also be able to recover/remove the partitions? Especially the partition used for the snow leopard installation, I would like to recover the GB used for this drive since I wouldn't need it anymore if this goes well.

Since you do not own your copy of Snow Leopard, you will not be able to get the information you are seeking on MR since it violates Forum Rules

Your solution is to buy a retail copy of Snow Leopard
