Hello guys.
I am trying to install Windows 7 on my 2010 MBP running High Sierra via a USB stick. I have formatted the USB drive to MS-DOS (FAT 32) format and downloaded the Windows 7 .iso-file.
After having downloaded the latest Windows support software from Apple via Boot Camp Assistant I get the following message: "The installer disc could not be found - Insert your Windows installer disc and wait a few seconds for the disc to be recognized." I don't have a Windows 7 installer disc, I have a .iso-file. I have tried copy-pasting the iso to the USB, but that doesn't change a thing. I have tried the guide from Apple, but that's of no help either.
In short: I want to install via a disc image. Boot Camp Assistant asks for a Windows installer disc.
Can anybody help?
