Installing Windows 7 to a Macintosh USB USB Drive (Without Bootcamp)

I saw this on the internet and I was wondering if anyone has been able to do that here. I would love to hear your experience with the procedure. Here is the link that I ran into. Really interesting

I don't know of any modifications like the ngine.de ones for XP for Windows 7.

Generally speaking, Windows doesn't like to boot off of external/removable media, so it requires these kinds of procedures.

BTW this would be better in the Windows on Mac forum

That's the same link from 2006. Step 2 is to modify your XP install disc using instructions from ngine.de, which don't work on Windows Vista or Windows 7 as far as I know.
