Installing Windows 8 without any previous windows before.

Hello,

I would like to buy Windows 8 but every place on the internet is telling me that I need to have Windows XP, Vista or 7 before.

Is there any way just ONLY install Windows 8 on my air via Bootcamp, I don't have a product key for any OS as of right now.

This is correct as now the OEM/System Builder licenses have an explicit "Personal Use License for System Builder" option.

You can do a clean install with the upgrade download thats what I did. You just have to do a couple extra steps. Just google "clean install windows 7 upgrade" that method works on Windows 8 too. Thats what I did bought the key for $39.99. Still need to get a couple more keys.
