Hey Guys,
I recently Decided that I would install a second hard drive in my Late 2011 Macbook Pro 13 Inch 8gb Ram 2.4ghz i5 originally with 500gb (Toshiba), now with 1tb (500gb Toshiba + 500gb Seagate) running Mavericks. To do so I removed my Disk Drive, and replaced it with a hard drive. Which works great, as in I can save my files there if I wish. I then turned the internal disk drive into an external with a USB. I want to install my copy of windows 8 (disk) onto my second (Seagate Hard drive). The tutorials make it seem like a piece of cake but that is not the case. When I use boot Manager it works fine until it has to run the disk. Where either I get a black screen with 1 blinking underscore. Or the error message "Unable to Boot No BOOTMGR" or similar. What can I do to fix this? (Can opt to use USB / ISO files)
Any suggestions or previous experience would be greatly appreciated. (If I do not respond it is because of the timezone difference, either at work or sleeping
)
Thank you
