Installing Windows using BootCamp on a Mac with FileVault

I've got a 2019 MBP 16" (i9 | 1TB | 16GB) and am thinking of installing windows using bootcamp. However since FileVault is enabled currently I'm scared that it might mess up the installation and lock me out of either of the partitions since the disc cannot be read.

I've read far too many horror stories of people getting locked out of their Mac partition which is basically where I have all my work.(I just wanna get windows to play some games).

Anyone knows how this works? would FileVault be an issue? and how to ensure nothing goes wrong with the dual boot?
