Just got my new Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000 today!

Through the installation process I received a few error messages but managed to successfully complete it and restart my system.

When going to System Preferences > Other > Microsoft Mouse, I get this message: "To use the "Microsoft Mouse" preferences pane, System Preferences must quit and reopen." And so it reopens and loads the Microsoft Mouse (32-bit) configuration pane.

At first I was concerned, but then I found this article http://unqualified.org/tech/its-snowing-leopards-hallelujah/ In the third last paragraph the article's author mentions he had the same issue and it seems it's due to Microsoft not yet fully updating their drivers for Snow Leopard at 64-bit.

So I guess I just have to wait for Microsoft to Update drivers in IntelliPoint 7.0. Haven't installed Parallels Desktop 5 and Windows 7 yet, but I sure hope my mouse works properly there as well.

UPDATE: When I popped in the install CD, it didn't detect new versions. I manually found and installed 7.1 from the Microsoft Hardware website, problem fixed now I think
