I am currently running snow leopard 10.6.8 on my year old MacBook Pro. I need to install Windows XP and have read numerous posts but for the life of me can’t get the drivers to load properly. I do not have the original installation disks as I just moved and they are packed away God knows where… I have downloaded several versions of BootCampESD and when attempting to install it I receive an error message that the program to be upgraded does not exist. It seems like the BootCamp Driver packages I am downloading are only to upgrade existing installations and not to install the drivers on a new from scratch installation, which this is. I have read several posts that points individuals in the direction of downloading the driver packages, which I have attempted but still received the same error when attempting to install them in XP. Any ideas?
