Instand DVD Recorder

Having recently converted from a Windows (no regrets!), I used to use Piannacle's Instant DVD recorder. Plug the Hardware into USB and the video source into the hardware (red, white and yellow) and record straight to the computer.
Unfortunately, Pinnacle don't do a MAc version of this software.
Just wondering if anyone knows of any compatible software I could use with the Pinnacle hardware or similar.
If not is there a good MAC version, or how could I do it.
