Instant Messenging for OS 9?

We have a few computers in locations 30 miles apart that used yahoo IM to communicate for our business. This week, yahoo IM stopped working on OS 9.

Is there any kind of messenging system that still works in OS 9?

Should work, as far as I know. There might actually be a newer version available...that version works all the way back to System 7.
