Instructions: run News outside the US/UK/AU regions

If you live outside the three supported countries, you don't have to be permanently switched to them to use News on macOS. You only need to switch once, create an alias for the now revealed News app and then switch back. It will continue working (and as far as my testing went, it also syncs with iCloud).

You can also use my alias (if it's not portable across computers, I apologize). Just put it in your Applications folder (and/or wherever you see fit).

Thanks, but some things are still region dependent, like Morning Digest can not be opened unless you sign in with an US iCloud account.

Oh, that sucks. I happen to have a US account, so I did not notice any limitations. Is it closed in the same way on iOS for other countries' accounts?
