Insufficient funds from a gift card, can i pay the balance with a credit card?

I have 30$ of itunes cards to spend on Lion, but I didnt realize there was tax in the app store, if I put my credit card number in, will it automatically use the 30$ and then use my credit card for the balance? is this possible? I'd rather do this then go out and by another 15$ itunes card... thanks!

Redeem the $30 gift card first and your account will withdraw first from that. It will withdraw the remainder from whatever CC you have set-up for the account.
