I'm about to claim insurance on my wrecked Macbook Pro (non-unibody), and I need to get proof of its original pricing and all that to the insurance agent. The specs are as follows: 2.4GHZ C2D / 2GB Ram / 8600GT 256MB / 250GB HD and I'm looking for an apple page that confirms the value. I was thinking perhaps archive.org took a screenshot that I could use, I can't get onto archive.org because my school blocks it for some reason. Can anyone take a screenshot or do anything for me?

Many thanks
Sam

I don't think I can get the receipt, I bought it in Hong Kong, where I'm from, and now I'm in the States for university.

Just give him the specs. Usually the insurance agent will either have the company call Apple or a reseller and get the price of the most recent model with the closest specs or he will have you get him an estimate receipt.

Why not just call Apple directly? Ask for a quote and use that.
