How's it going? I've done my fair bit of research and I keep coming across posts by other mac users stating that they have insurance on their MacBook pros that cover accidental damage. And their yearly cost for this insurance is really low.

However I've called Farmers and State Farm and both agents look at me as if I'm from another planet when I ask about this. What em I doing wrong, any help on how to insure my Macbook? I know about fire and theft damage, I don't want that I want my butt covered if it drops and cracks and it seems like other users have that.

$41.00 A year coverage for me at USAA renters insurance for drops/spills/water damage but I have to pay a deductible of $250.00 for up to $4,000.00. I have two computers so the 4,000 is for both. You can go up or down on the amount.

Unknown about other insurance companies. Might want to call them up

I have State Farm Personal Articles policy. I have 2 computers on it for about $40-50 a year. Both MBPr, 13 and 15 inch.
