Hi,

I'm sorry for being so ignorant, but I have no idea how to install webkit on Windows. I've been using Firefox beta's for a while and all I had to do was just click on the exe file, but with webkit I really don't know what to do.

I'd appreciate help  thank you.

iirc you need to install Safari for windows first.

Then download the webkit nightly from here, then inside the folder that gets installed there is something like run webkit (really can't remember exactly) you have to double click that.

i have double clicked run-nightly-webkit.cmd and new do i just open safari or is it placed in a folder somewhere? do i need to change any settings?

I started up parallels so I could run through the exact process for you.

If you have Safari 3.1 installed and once you have downloaded the webkit nightly extract the zipped folder and run the run-webkit-nightly. This will pop up a cmd window and then after a little while Webkit will open (under the name Safari.)

wow... i feel so stupid :p thank you soo much for taking your time just to help me  I didn't know it was that simple
