I'm with AT&T. I currently have SMS blocked and I use my Google Voice number to do text messages. Any idea if there will be a work around or a way to get text sent to my GV number to integrate with iMessage?

You can use the native messaging app now with google voice by Jailbreaking

I've done that on my iPhone, just not my iPad 2.

I believe it's gvsmsextension or something to that effect, search around in Cydia, easily the best jailbroken app I've ever bought.

I found it..as well as the phone extension. I'm testing them now :)

The Phone GV extension is actually much more useful for me. my GV SMS gets forwarded to my phone so I really only have to receive the initial text from someone to get their "magic number." I save that in their contacts and that's that.

Plus, I have a mixed number of people I use my native vs GV number to and it doesn't give you a choice.

The Phone extension, however, is something I will need. Thanks for the tip!
