I currently have my Retail Snow Leopard disc on a USB stick for installs and I was wondering if there was a way to get the 10.6.3 Update applied to the USB stick so I don't have to keep running it after every install. Thanks

Ryan

As far as I know there isn't a way to "slipstream" OS X installs with updates like you can with Windows. You'd have to wait until 10.6.3 was widely available on the retail install discs and request (at a modest cost I'm sure) replacement media from Apple.

However if anyone does know how to incorporate updates into existing OS X install discs, I'd be interested in hearing about it as well.

Unfortunately, the retail disc method is the only option for end users. There are "slipstreaming" tools for Mac OS X but Apple limits their availibility to developers who need it to, for instance, make universal boot discs for any Mac.
