Integration of Elgato eyeTV into Front Row

Will we ever see a smooth integration of Elgato eyeTV into FrontRow or is it history since update to OSX 10.6.

In earlier versions, 3rd party utilities could hook into FrontRow to enable eyeTV but this is gone with Snowleopard.

Have I missed anything?
