I'm not sure if this has been posted yet but Barefeats has tested a few of the new MBP's. I believe they will be doing more testing next week.

http://www.barefeats.com/mbpp34.html

Notice the Cinebench gpu tests for the 2010 and 2011 13" MBP. They are both at 11.4 and 11.5 or virtually the same. The Intel 3000 did edge out the Nvidia 320 by a tiny sliver.

Now of course this isn't a gaming test but for pro use which the MBP is intended for it shows the Intel 3000 IGP to be about equal to the Nvidia 320 IGP.

So lets all stop calling it a downgrade already.

Just for comparison my 21.5" iMac 3.06 Ghz C2D with nvidia 9400 IGP gets about a 6.26 rating with Cinebench. So the Intel 3000 can be viewed as a massive gpu upgrade for those like me who are on a Nvidia 9400 or lower.

I should also note that I use Photoshop, After Effects, Final Cut Studio and Cinema 4D on my machine at work and these applications work very well in a fulltime production environment with tight deadlines. My cpu rendering gets a bit slow for me sometimes which is why I am in the market for one of these new MBP's. I would hold out for a sandy bridge based iMac but I'm also tired of having to haul my iMac around in a iLugger bag every day.
