I am using this on my new 2011 15" and have to say I am delighted. Went for the 300Gb version which in the UK was around the same price as a 256Gb SATA 3 SSD e.g. Force Series 3. Had read the reviews and opted for reliability and a bit more capacity over the performance gain of SATA 3. For me personally there are too many issues on the SATA 3 route and as a everyday bloke I probably am not going to see a massive difference in overall performance although SATA 3 may not be an option in any respect for you.

Hoping Lion will address any need for TRIM hacks which I have not implemented as yet so will wait.

The other bonus is the 5 year warranty - says a lot methinks.

I can seem to buy this drive, two places have canceled my order now because they don't have them in stock. Is there a difference between this:
