Intel HD4000 uses less memory than it should in Win 7

Hey guys!

I have installed Windows 7 on Macbook Air, drivers and everything are up to date. Seems like everything is working like it should except Intel HD 4000. In the game Total War Shogun 2 it shows that iGPU is using only 243Mb instead of 512Mb (I have upgraded RAM in MBA). I have checked Intel GPU driver, eveything is set to "Performance". Please help.

It works better on Mac. It is normal.

The RAM usage is managed automatically based on the load. 512MB should just be the maximum but it can be less. See this guide for checking the max amount.

No, it doesn't. When running windows natively on a mac it runs the same as any similarly spec'd windows machine. The only differentiation is apple specific drivers for things like the track pad, hot keys, etc.
