Hey everyone, Okay... my problem started about 3 months ago when i tried to install XP on my iMac running OS X 10.5.7 and all was going well until it restarted and kept on booting to the 'Disk error, Press any key to restart'.

After hours of reasearch I know why this happend and found a solution to fix it. Except the solution doesnt work for me! I restart the computer and hold down alt (control).. but it doesnt go into the boot menu. I put in the OSX install dvd... and same thing happens. I have no idea why this is happening. Could it be because im using a white imac with then new slim keyboard? its somehow not registering the keystrokes or something?

On the plus side i got fed up with it and forked out and bought a 15inch macbook pro (which i dont wanna taint with Microsoft).

Thanks is advance!
