I have the iMac G5 2.1 ghz that I just purchased a few weeks ago and I am seriously considering returning it and getting the new Intel iMac; however, I've already upgraded the RAM in my current iMac by adding a 1 GB DDR2 PC-4200 533 Mhz chip. My question is will this chip work in the new Intel iMac? Per Apple's specs the new iMac's come with a 512MB (single SO-DIMM) 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM PC2-5300 chip. I went to Crucial's website and did the configurator for both machines. For the G5 iMac it lists either RAM chip as an upgrade option, but for the new intel iMac, it lists just the 667mhz PC2-5300 DDR2 SDRAM as a RAM upgrade, so I'm not sure...??

I would love to be able to use the chip that I already have-if not, I don't know...this whole thing is getting a bit complicated with restocking fees and all...may not be worth it after all. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
