Hi in December for Christmas i got a iMac 17" intel core 2 duo 2Ghz. I was wondering because it was my first proper mac after using windows since windows 3.1 ( We did get a mac performa 5200 which no one used really ..we just played Cd's on it ). Is there any chance of upgrading the 128Mb of video on the mac ?

Ryan.

No chance it's soldered to the motherboard, however the card is still very capable it's not like it's a Intel integrated Graphics

i suppose if you acquired a 256 card and you were moderately expert at soldering then it could be achieved...

Yeah he could do that, but is it worth the risk just to gain 128 MB of video ram
