OK, here's what I have: I've been using a Dr. Bott USB+2VGA switcher box for a few years now. It has two PCs connected to it and, until recently, a G4 Mac mini. When I'd flip the switch around to the Mac mini, the video of the Mac mini would be up INSTANTLY and I could mouse around right away.

I sold my G4 Mac mini and got a Core Solo Mac mini... but now the video is much slower to respond. When I switch the box to the Mac mini, it takes a few seconds for the Mac mini's desktop to be displayed... it's almost as if the video port on the Mac mini was turned off the instant I switched away from the mini, and then turned back on only when I switched back to the mini.

Has anyone else seen this, and do you have any suggestions? I've already checked to make sure nothing's sleeping, and the problem occurs even if I switch back and forth repeatedly between a PC and the mini.
