I thinkin about gettin a macbook pro... but every time i see one of this machines they crash for no apparent reason...
i been working on a g4 for years and i dont remember it crashing or anything
is the most stable piece of junk ive worked on... but is too slow... i need a faster ai tool
so...

are this crashes just a series of scarry coincidences or intel does make computers unstable?
i always thoght the problem was microsoft crap...

Microsoft has nothing to do with the Intel chips. What apps are you running? The Intel machines don't seem any less reliable than the PPC machines they replaced, but you could always opt for a refurbished late model PowerBook. It'll be faster and PPC. :)

I don't know where you're getting this idea...the only time my Mac Pro ever crashed was the other day...and it was on Windows in Boot Camp (go figure)

My Intel Mini has never had a kernel panic. I leave it running 24/7, use it all the time, and only have to reboot every 5 or 6 days or so. Not because of crashes usually, either. So... it's very stable.
