Hi everyone,
i'm sure this topic has been up but i'm finding anything exactly like it when searching. Well, i't just like the header says. My internal screen is completely dead, and the white LED is too. When waking the computer from sleep or when turning the screen on/off using Hot Corner to put screen into sleep - i get a fraction of a second when the screen is visible on the Macbook as well.

Otherwise everything seems to be working. So, what am i to do? Could it be the inverter cable i have read about? The logic board? I am a bit sceptical as i do get this fraction of a second with image after sleep.

I know i'm pushing it with this old machine (trackpad dead, etc etc) but i really want it to hang in there for a while longer.

Many thanks for anything helpful

/Peter

White Intel Macbook from late 2007
Snow Leopard 10.6.8
2.2 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo
GMA x3100

Edit: I've noticed that i can actually see a few contours on the screen, but it's very dark. So now i guess this sounds exactly like the previous thread regarding a black Macbook with faulty invertor cable.
