I dunno - I guess news of a big company engaging in illegal practices isn't shocking anymore. I'd expect it of any large company that thinks it can get away with it in this day and age - and, at least in the U.S., corporate interests practically run the government as well, which makes the whole process even easier for them. I'm absolutely certain Apple would do it if the company were bigger, who isn't these days? Enron and about 20 major world banks and investment firms with which it was involved, Bechtel in Iraq, M$ just about everywhere, the former baby-Bells, and so on. Gotta make those bucks you know...
