Can some one check out this DailyShow correspondent page for me in Safari 2.0.3 (417.9.3) on 10.4.6 (Intel) and see what Activity Monitor says.

Maybe it has something to do with all the Flash on the page?

I'm running Handbrake at the same time, but it doesn't make Safari do anything weird for me:

Fine for me but I'm pure PPC, baby. Are you running Safari in Rosetta?

It's pretty disconcerting having 200% CPU power to play with on these dual core machines.

I have narrowed down the CPU spike to pages with more than one Flash animation so I guess I am gonna try reinstalling the Flash beta… :(
