Intel SSD faster after OS update

So, I changed the HDD on my late 08 mbp to a Intel 80gb SSD.
Did a fresh OS install.

Did a Xbench before software updates and scored 218.
Updated OSX, and the HDD scored 226.

So, if Snow Leopard is good, I'm expecting a better HDD score!
