Or can you confirm boot camp works on newer model 80GB, I know it works on the 160.

I understand that you need to fund out if there is a fix from Intel® so the Intel® X25-M SATA Solid State Drive to work with the Boot Camp software.

Please note that at this moment there is no Intel® fix for this issue, and there is no estimated date for a possible fix, since this software is not supported by Intel®. You may be able to get a resolution from Apple*.

If there is no firmware fix, then, perhaps it was a slight hardware revision that allows newer X25s to work with bootcamp.

I think you may have just reached the bottom level of intel's customer support. In my experience they are clueless and does probably not even know what boot camp is.

I just dont see how Anand could write that there is a fix available if it wasnt true.
 
My case was escalated to the egineering group

That is their reply.
