I just got two SSD's and I'm trying to decide which machines to best use them in...

The first SSD is the intel 80 Gb x25 and I am thinking about using that in my whitebook but OSX doesn't support trim and I am concerned with longevity of the drive (I could also use it in my win7 AMD quad-core desk top).

The other SSD is a WD Blue 64 Gb drive bought specifically for my eeePC running winXP due to the WD onboard garbage collection the unit is supposed to have = would I be better using this unit in my whitebook?

For those that have macbooks or MBP's running the Intel SSD, how's it working out for you?

Do you notice any slowdown and how do you compensate for it?

Any other advise would be helpful also, please let me know?

*** yes I'll be running a USB portable HDD externally as I still use my optical drive frequently.

I'm not quite sure I'd be comfortable using an SSD with an OS that doesn't officially support trim right now. Unless you knew for a fact that the firmware had very good wear levelling, who knows how much you could reduce the life of the drive.
