I'm thinking of a 64gb Intel X25-E. I don't have a lot of software and store files on my server. That said I'm curious what size the drive will be after formatting? I currently have a 320gb drive that formatted to 298...if I lose 20gb after formatting that would be a 44gb drive and too small.

Thoughts?

The loss in the 320 GB drive is not due to formatting. It's due to the different definitions of a "kilo" or "mega" byte:

So the reduction is generally the same % on all drives. emt's estimate is probably pretty close.
