Intensity Pro > Skype ... WTF?

Intensity Pro shows up as "Decklink" in Skype ... but nothing else. Just black screen. No error message, and the Intensity Pro setting don't seem to do jack.

What's the deal with this?

Does Skype just not work with Capture Cards despite saying that it does?

BlackMagic products are crap!!!

I am video editor and have an Intensity pro card as well. And all its good for is displaying my video from FCP and Motion to a TV monitor. And half the time that is an issue just to get that to work. There own capture software doesn't even work with their own ****. No video just audio maybe.

So I called them about problems I was having and they said well it works with our setup. Which means that have the most basic setup of a computer and Video Editing software and nothing else installed or attached.

If you are going OUT to TV monitor you can always go out from a GT120 > DVI > HDMI(?!)

That might solve your Blackmagic woes. For me, I have to capture a signal coming in and get it to Skype... THAT is the big stumper for me.
