Hi the power supply on my 2008 mbp (15") quit about a year ago. It was such a frustrating experience since such an expensive laptop should last more than 4 years (in my opinion) so i never got it fixed.. but anyways my boyfriend has a 2008 macbook (13") that has a shattered screen (otherwise it's fine).
My question is, can I remove the power supply from the macbook and put it into the mbp?

EDIT: sorry -points to self- pc user :p i meant the DC in board the laptops been well dissected and tested and this is found to be the problem

Do you mean the white device with the one/two cables on it, where one cable/plug goes into a power outlet and the other cable with the MagSafe plug goes into the Mac?

If yes, you said "remove and put into" thus my confusion, then you can do it, but the 60 W charger of the MB will take a bit longer to charge the MBP.
