The only computer I have right now is a 2009 Macbook pro (which really only holds its charge for like an hour), and I'm looking to upgrade. I'm thinking I'll get a new iMac, but the Macrumors buying guide suggests to hold off, because current models are very outdated.
Is there a sense that the next release will be a major update, or will it likely be incremental enough that, were I to buy a new one now, I wouldn't be kicking myself when the next line comes out? And does anyone have any idea when this next model is likely to be released?
