Hello all,

I am looking into getting a wireless NAS drive for my home. I have my mid 2014 MacBook Pro with Mavericks which I will not be upgrading, iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2 which I would need to all be connected.

I don't want to spend a lot of money. Yes, I want speed, memory, and processing power but I don't want to spend $500. I think the most I am willing to spend is $200 and even then I would have to be seduced.

Where do I start looking? What do I need to take into consideration?

Thanks in advance.

Go to Newegg.com and look in Shop All Stores>Computer Hardware>Networking>Network Attached Storage and start comparing specs and reading reviews. For anything that looks interesting cross reference reviews and pricing elsewhere (such as Amazon.com or MicroCenter).
