There are all kinds of weird, unique, and interesting Apple-related accessories out there, and in our latest YouTube video, we've rounded up some of the most notable products we've come across in the last few months.

From an Apple Watch band with a camera to an ultra fancy phone sanitizer, these accessories may not be for everyone, but they're definitely worth checking out.
  • Cleanstation ($200) - From Simplehuman, known for its trash cans, the cleanstation is a UV-C sanitizer that promises to rid your iPhone of 99.9% of germs in just 30 seconds.
  • Wristcam for Apple Watch ($300) - As the name suggests, this is a band that adds a camera to your Apple Watch. It's an 8-megapixel camera and it holds 2000 photos or an hour of video, connecting to the watch over WiFi or Bluetooth. It's bulky, but useful if you need hands-free recording.
  • Pivo ($139) - Pivo is a nifty little rotating stand for your iPhone. You can film yourself and the Pivo will make sure that you stay in the frame with smart autotracking, and it's compatible with any tripod.
All of the links to the products are in this article, but make sure to watch our video to see them in action.

I did not know Cleansation existed. Looks pretty cool and unique but not sure if it’s worth $200.
Phone Soap was huge at the start of the pandemic when people thought the dreaded Covid-19 lived forever and leapt off surfaces, especially from your hand & other mysterious places to your cell phone. Hah! It's a total waste of money. Do you remember wiping everything down with wipes including all the groceries? o_O Wowzers

I'll admit to wiping down groceries, until I had the epiphany of wondering: "if I really needed to wipe my groceries, then I wasn't I wiping the inside of my car? Why wasn't I stripping and immediately washing my clothes after walking in the house?" I wonder whatever happened to that guy on YouTube that was showing how to stage a clean and dirty section of your kitchen.

3 accessories that will probably be discontinued in the next year. I can’t see any of them having enough appeal to survive. Only if you have more money than sense would the sanitiser or wristcam appeal. Pivo has a limited market and for the same money you could get a DJII OM4 Gimbal that can do the same thing and more.

Pivo looks like a virtual external pushup bra.

The wristcam is definitely one of the most useless and terrible apple accessories of the recent years
Been using it for 4 months during outdoor trips all over the US. All of the "on the spot" wilderness pictures I have taken disagrees with that statement. It's less bulky than expected, but it does have two flaws: No support for Apple Messages (yet), and the "off" switch does not have any type of haptic/message/light indicator that is off. It was a good purchase.

… I did all of that even before the pandemic… But I’m a total germaphobe, so 🤷🏽‍♂️

Thanks! I like this type of video a lot and you should do more if it. Not all of us get the perk of receiving free items for review.

I think the clean station is an overkill, but the wrist cam and the Pivo are simply awesome! I can't own an Apple Watch because of my size; the 38mm watch is still too big for me so I'm sorry I won't be the wrist cam's customer. But I gotta have the Pivo. My kids are gonna love it and we'll have a blast doing video captures without having one of us holding the phone.

Thanks again for making the video!

Paid $150 for this when it was indiegogo’d (made by CMRA) about 3-4 years ago. Turned out to be vapor ware and I was lucky to get my money back.

Privo is fine but there are dozens of products that do the same thing just as well for under a hundred bucks.
