I sent the author an e-mail after reading in the specs. that Mac OS X v10.2 is based on BSDMach3.0...since the BSD layer is based on version 4.4 since 10.2 instead.
It's nice to hear that people are using Mac OS X, even if some are doing so reluctantly.
It would be nice to see more big names endorse the o.s. though.
ClearChannel Communications (radio stations mostly), here in the states, was praising XServe at the announcement. I'm not sure how many they've deployed, but it would probably be the largest of any single company so far.
Now, if we would see volume purchases such as PowerComputing got back in 1994-1996, that would be news.
