I was working on my Mac today when suddenly, all of the windows and the Finder menu bar disappeared.
At first I thought I'd accidentally shut down the laptop, so I waited a minute or two for it to shut down. No dice.
I tried to force quit with the key combo to relaunch the Finder. But when the Force quit apps window showed up, nothing was running, not even finder.
The only thing showing on my screen until I restarted the computer was my background image.
Has anyone experienced this kind of crash before? I'm just curious, because in the 10+ years I've been using Macs, I've never had that happen to me before.
