iPod touch Interesting iPod release speculation?

I (as you guys might have seen in another thread) preordered an iPod touch with AppleCare.

What's interesting is that I just got the invoice for the AppleCare -- I wonder if this is an indication of a possible early October release?

I would say this is completely unrelated. AppleCare will have nothing to do with the release date of Touch.

I believe the reason Apple didn't specify a release date for Touch is because they were not sure about the initial sale of iPhone 5. If they can meet the initial demand of iPhone 5, then an early Touch release will be possible. Otherwise, it'll be late Oct.

And we all know the demand for iPhone is so "overwhelming" that Apple can barely catch up. And since Touch basically uses the same hardware as iPhone, especially the screen, I believe we won't see a Touch in our hand until late Oct.
