I was intrigued to see how my new laptop was using CPU, so I thought I would fire up Activity Monitor (search for Activity Monitor using the Search capability at the top RHS of the screen).
At the bottom of Activity Monitor, if you are monitoring CPU, it shows a rudimentary chart of CPU Load. I've used this before quite a few times, but something I never did before was to double-click the chart, which I did today on a whim. This fires up a window that shows a neat history of CPU activity in all the computer's cores, which is neat.
An interesting discovery.
